  • In jail

Should I get a private criminal defense attorney?

Pros:

  • Choice of attorney
  • Personal attention to your case
  • Call/text/email or meet in our office anytime
  • Smaller caseload
  • Personally vested in the outcome of your case

Cons:

  • Must pay for representation, BUT we offer free consultations and accept payment installments

Should I get a public defender?

Pros:

  • Free, but only if you qualify financially

Cons:

  • Must qualify financially
  • No choice of attorney
  • Difficult to reach by phone/email or meet in person
  • Huge caseload
  • Very little personal attention

Should I represent myself?

No. Don’t do it. Ever.
